All rent-a-car insurances with NO excess value!

Our rent-a-car rates are inclusive of all required rent-a-car vehicle insurances like 3rd party responsibility, CDW (Collision Damage Waiver), TW (Theft Waiver) and Bail Bond (where applicable) at Alicante Airport and have no rent-a-car insurance excess, this means that there is no credit card deposit on arrival at Alicante Airport against damage to the rent-a-car vehicle's bodywork and in the event of bodywork damage to the rent-a-car vehicle (like dented panels not : tyres glass wheels etc see below) there is no renter responsibility.

Local rent-a-car taxes & airport charges.

Our rent-a-car rates at Alicante Airport are fully inclusive of local sales taxes (16.00% in Spain).

Arrival times for your rent-a-car.

Our rent-a-car rates include 24 hour rent-a-car service at Alicante Airport with no surcharge for late or night time rent-a-car arrivals. When we confirm your rent-a-car reservation at Alicante Airport, we'll require your arrival flight number into Alicante Airport. (At Malaga or Alicante Airports, surcharges for night-time arrival may apply to cars sourced off-aiport, please consult your car hire voucher for final details).

The following items are not included in our rent-a-car rates for Alicante Airport rent-a-car.

Fuel is not included at Alicante Airport!

The fuel that you consume during your rent-a-car is obviously not included in our our published rent-a-car rates! On arrival at Alicante Airport, you will be asked to prepay a full tank of fuel. At the end of the hire, simply return the rent-a-car vehicle back to the rent-a-car station at Alicante Airport as empty as possible.

Lost rent-a-car vehicle keys.

Vehicle keys are chip-coded and are costly and timely items to replace. If you lose the rent-a-car vehicle's key, you will be obliged to pay for its replacement (approximately EUR 120.00) plus any associated transport costs in connecting you with a new vehicle key. More importantly, your holiday rent-a-car at Alicante Airport may be seriously affected while you wait for a new key to be prepared for your rent-a-car vehicle. Please take good care of the rent-a-car vehicle key while you're on holiday in Spain!

Using the wrong fuel type for your rent-a-car vehicle.

Putting gasoline into a diesel car (or vice versa) requires the engine to be stripped down and cleaned. If you put the wrong fuel into the rent-a-car vehicle at Alicante Airport, expect a hefty garage bill and several days with your car "off-the-road" while the car is repaired.

Blow-outs are at your own risk

If you have a puncture during the rental the car hire company will hold you responsible for the repair/replacement cost. All our cars are delivered with a road-worthy set of tyres which are inspected prior to each delivery. Typically, bad parking or driving off-road are the most common causes of punctures during a rental period.

Off-road or negligent use.

Our rent-a-car vehicles at Alicante Airport are rented for use on the public highways of Spain. They cannot be used off-road. Although a very rare ocurrance, we'd like you to be aware that damage to the underside of the rent-a-car vehicle, frequently caused by negligent driving or off-road use at Alicante Airport (we have had occasion to have to lift rent-a-car vehicles out of dried-up river beds!) is your responsibility. Drunk driving a hire car is considered negligent use.

Traffic fines.

Traffic fines, speeding tickets incurred at the wheel of your rent-a-car vehicle at Alicante Airport are at your own risk.

Vehicle glass & locks.

It is a sad reality that in most holiday resorts in Spain, auto-theft is a day-to-day ocurrance. If you park up the rent-a-car vehicle with personal items inside and, as a consequence, the glass or locks are damaged in an attempt to steal your personal effects, you will be responsible for the associated repair costs to the rent-a-car vehicle. We strongly recommend that you park the vehicle in supervised car parks/garages in the major cities and never leave any personal item inside the rent-a-car vehicle.

Damage to the vehicle's underside.

Damage to the vehicle's underside is the responsibility of the renter. Although a very rare ocurrance, damage caused by driving off-road, impacts from rocks or other items to the underside can cause considerable damage to the vehicle. If this situation arises, you will be responsible for the repair costs.

The following items can be added to your rent-a-car reservation for Alicante Airport in Spain :

Infant Seats

Infant seats are suitable for new-born babies until approximately 6 months of age. Infant seats are normally available on rent-a-car vehicles from Alicante Airport on request. There is a charge of EUR 3.50 per day for these seats which is payable on arrival at Alicante Airport. You must reserve infant seats at the same time as you reserve your rent-a-car.

Baby

Baby seats are suitable for young children from approximately 6 months of age until 2-3 years of age. Seats are supplied for rent-a-car vehicles from Alicante Airport on request. There is a charge of EUR 3.50 per day for these seats which is payable on arrival at Alicante Airport. You must reserve infant seats at the same time as you reserve your rent-a-car.

Booster Seats

Booster seats are suitable for young children from approximately 2 years until 5 years of age. Booster seats are supplied for rent-a-car vehicles from Alicante Airport on request. There is a charge of EUR 3.50 per day for these seats which is payable on arrival at Alicante Airport. You must reserve infant seats at the same time as you reserve your rent-a-car.

Additional Drivers

You may add additional drivers to your rent-a-car on arrival in Alicante Airport. These are payable locally at Alicante Airport at EUR 2.50 per day.

Cross border charges

You can take your rent-a-car vehicle from Alicante Airport to tour outside of Spain. Vehicles rented at Alicante Airport can visit France but require additional insurance as follows

You must however return to the rent-a-car company station specified on your rent-a-car voucher in Spain at the end of the rent-a-car period. You may not rent vehicles one-way from Spain, leaving them in another country.
